Overnight Oats
Overnight oats is one of those meals you can vary endlessly, and really make your own. The addition of a plant based yoghurt or quark adds creaminess as well as some extra protein to keep you going for longer. It’s a perfect quick breakfast that you can easily throw into your bag and bring to campus those days when you need some extra time in bed.

- Measurement cup(s)

- 1.5 dL oats
- 1.5 dL plant based milk
- 0.5 dL plant based quark or yogurt
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- sweetener to taste
- handfull of berries
Instructions
- Add the oats and milk to a jar or bowl and mix using a spoon. Make sure to mix properly so that you don’t get spots of dry oats in the corners or in the bottom of your container.
- Add the cinnamon and sweetener and mix again. Taste and add more if needed.
- Top your oats with berries
- Refrigerate overnight, or for a minimum of two hours
Notes
- Prepare several portions at once to have quick breakfast options ready
- Use flavored milk or yogurt to vary the flavor of your oats
- Add a scoop of your favorite protein powder to your oats! Make sure to add extra liquid so that they don’t become too dry. You want the consistency to be a little bit runny when you put them in the refrigerator, so that the oats can absorb the milk and flavor.
- Reuse old glass jars from nut butters. You don’t even have to clean it before making your oats, those last bits of nutter butter taste delicious in the oats!
