Walk through the hatertse vennen

Do you want to go on a super relaxing nature activity with the VSA🌱? Then join us on October 18th for a Walk Through the ✨Hartertse Vennen✨! The Hatertse Vennen is a special landscape, with a unique water management system depending only on rainwater🌦️. You can also expect a variety of scenic nature, with forest, heath, wetland and river dunes along with a huge biodiversity🦡.
We will gather at the Huygens building and leave at 15:30(!) to cycle🚲 together to Hatertse Vennen, where we will go on a 3.5 km walk. We will have a cookie break halfway🍪. After the walk we plan to cycle together back to the HAN/RU campus.

🕠WHEN: Wednesday, 18th of October, leaving at 15:30(!)

📍WHERE: Gather at Huygens building (main entrance) to cycle to Hatertse Vennen

👥WHO: Open to everyone!

❗This activity requires a 3.5 km walk and a total of around 50 minutes biking from and to the Hatertse Vennen (i.e. also a bike). There is also a bus stop near the start of the walk, so if you cannot/do not want to cycle it is also possible to join by bus.
