VSA goes Vierdaagsefeesten (ft. Pink Wednesday)

Hey all! The summer break is near, which means SocCom is almost done organising events for this year… But don’t worry because the Summer Committee ☀️ is here to take over and provide some leisurely fun for those who remain in Nijmegen! To start off on the right foot SunCom invites you to come and enjoy a night of the Vierdaagsefeesten! Alongside the Vierdaagse marches the Vierdaagsefeesten take place every year with a lot of varied musical acts throughout the city centre, attracting 1,5 million people from in and around Nijmegen. Well, it’s supposed to be yearly but due to coronavirus regulations the Vierdaagsefeesten are back after two(!) years absence. So whether you’re new in Nijmegen or had to miss the Vierdaagsefeesten for a few years, now is the chance to experience this great event (again)! 🤩 If this sounds good, we invite you to join on the 20th of July, which is also known as Pink Wednesday! This day is a celebration of diversity and the LGBTQIA+ community, with many march participants and partygoers dressed in pink and some appropriately themed events. So what is the planning during this evening?
