Sustainability Potluck

We are organizing another potluck! This potluck will be in collaboration with the Radboud Green Office. October 10th is the day of sustainability, so the potluck on the 7th of October will be all in the theme of sustainability. Besides cooking vegan, we challenge you to cook the most sustainable dish you can: zero-waste, with local and seasonal produce (don’t worry if you don’t have the time to do this, it’s just an extra challenge for those who feel like it).

The location of the potluck is behind the Huygens Building, but in order to make sure we can keep 1,5 meters distance from each other we will use a sign-up sheet to make an inventory of how many people are coming: https://forms.gle/XTamQ941MAJRqKw88. You can sign up until the 3rd of October 25:59h.

If you don’t feel comfortable with sharing food yet, just bring something for yourself. That is totally fine! For the ones that are comfortable with sharing food we ask you to bring some cutlery that can be used for your dish, so people can put it on their plate without having to touch the food or use their own cutely.

🌱 WHAT IS A POTLUCK?
A potluck is an event where people bring (home made) vegan food to share with everybody else. This means that everyone can enjoy a variety of foods. Did you have a busy week or forgot to cook something? No worries! You can always just buy something in the super market.

🥞 WHAT TO BRING? 🍽️
Some vegan food of course and your own cutlery and plate to make sure you have something to eat with. We challenge you this time to cook zero-waste, local and seasonal, but don’t worry if you don’t manage this perfectly. Also please bring some cutlery that can be used for your dish, so people can put it on their plate without having to touch the food. You can bring your own hand sanitizer if you want.

👯 FOR WHOM?
Everyone is welcome! You don’t need to be a vegan or even a vegetarian to come to one of our potlucks, as long as the food you bring is vegan. You also don’t need to be a member of our association to join our monthly sharing of yummy food. Do make sure however that you’re not exhibiting any symptoms of sickness.
