Chickpea Potluck

At the VSA, we endorse eating peas rather than chicks. Or, even better, both, but the other way around — you guessed it, chickpeas are the theme of our next potluck, on May 8th outside the Maria Montessori building!
From hummus and falafel, to curries, stews, and as aquafaba in all sorts of desserts, chickpeas are very versatile. Surprise us with an unusual chickpea recipe, and you might receive an award post-hummus-ly!
Or if you’re totally stumped for a dish idea, perhaps you can just humm-us a tune instead.

Our potlucks are always open events, so feel free to bring along a chickpea enthusiast! And as always, don’t forget a dish and some cutlery.
