Carnaval potluck

The winter days are mostly behind us and if you’re like us, all you want to do is party. Well, you’re in luck: the theme for the next potluck is Carnaval! ❤️💛💚
This is a holiday celebrated in the south of the Netherlands that consists of partying, parades, dressing up and singing along to loud music while severely intoxicated. 🕺🍻

Traditionally Carnaval marks the start of a fasting period (carne vale = goodbye to meat), but we’ll hopefully be enjoying lots of delicious vegan food. Join us on March 13th in the canteen of the Huygens Building for a true feast 🤤

How do I make carnaval-themed food, you ask? You can get very creative with it, maybe you could cook a dish that disguises itself, or something in the colours of Carnaval: red, yellow & green. And technically, any food without meat qualifies as a Carnaval food, so any vegan food will do! 🚫🥩 ✅️🥦

🍽 Don’t forget to bring your homemade or store-bought dish, a plate, and some cutlery!
