Concert

Double promo!! Music and poetry are power, especially when used for activism. 🎤 Headlined by Utrecht-based vegetarian singer Mattino (www.mattino.nl ), VSA Nijmegen will hold a free activism concert on 30 January in almost-vegan Café de Opstand! 🌱 Effective immediately, members with a card will also receive a ~10% discount on all their vegan products (everything asides the tosti and cow’s milk for coffee)! 🙌

Mattino’s theme will be Hoe ver gaat je eigen verantwoordelijkheid als het gaat om dierenleed? 
Is het genoeg om er niet aan mee te werken, of vraagt het soms ook om actief verzet — altijd vreedzaam uiteraard?
Other themes include hope, change-making, and environmental action. Activism in general!

The VSA NL borrel will begin at 18:00, performances by our very own Jarmo and Arie begin at 19:00 and the discussion afterwards is expected to end before 21:00.
NOTE: this event is held in Dutch, as all our performers have chosen to express themselves in their native language 🇳🇱

📍 WHERE: Collective Café de Opstand. Van Welderenstraat 104
6511 MS Nijmegen. This location is a few minutes walking from Nijmegen Centraal.
