VSA Joins a Cube of Truth

Whether you’re an experienced vegan activist or just getting started, this is your chance! On December 14th, we will be joining a Cube of Truth together with Anonymous for the Voiceless.

A Cube of Truth consists of two groups. One group stands masked in a square formation and holds a screen showing animal exploitation. This attracts attention and invites people to take a closer look without feeling watched. The mask also symbolizes how society takes animals’ personhood away.

The other group will do outreach: they participate in conversations with interested and open-minded bystanders. By asking questions about values like justice and compassion, we guide them to the conclusion that their values and actions do not align until they go vegan. If you don’t feel comfortable yet about doing outreach, you can just remain in the cube.
Afterwards, we usually go somewhere to eat together, but this is of course optional.

AV values
AV is an abolitionist organization, meaning we believe animals should have the right not to be used as property. We expect participants to be vegan and abolitionist.
