“One of the best things about doing a VSA board year for me was knowing that I was directly contributing to a community and cause I care about. Besides, all the cool people in that community made the work a lot more fun!”

Victor, standing with his hands behind his back with a slight smile.

Vice-President

“As vice-president and committee member I really enjoyed understanding the workings of the board, meeting a lot of nice people and helping to organise events for the VSA. I wish the next board good luck!”

“I knew a board year would have ups and downs, and it did. Luckily, the largest part was ups. I learnt a lot about myself, how I work and what I like. But, I also hope I helped the VSA move forward in a way that actually benefits the association and its members.”

“Looking back on this board year, I can honestly say that I didn’t quite know what I was signing up for when I began. I still can’t fully grasp the depth of dedication I’ve witnessed, not only from our committee members but also from my fellow board members. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to them for making this year so successful and full of significant achievements, as well as for being a great source of excitement and inspiration for me throughout the year.

My term as a board member has been invaluable, affording me many opportunities for growth and development, for which I am deeply grateful.

Looking forward, I am excited to see where the next board will take us. I have full trust that they will take great care of this association that I love.’’
